New Jersey (not the state, but the new Tormenta Kit)

I'm not a kit guy. It's not my thing and it's not something I get in to even if I did read Paul Lukas and Uni-watch from time to time. 

But this isn't about me. It's about Tormenta revealing their new 2025 kits, which they announced on Tuesday afternoon on their App. 




They look pretty good to me, but I'm barely qualified to write about soccer and I'm completely unqualified to talk about jersey design. So, ummm, if you like them. Cool. If you don't like them, also cool, I guess. 

Look, I'm kind of out of my depth here so I'm going to go ahead and wrap up my shortest post ever. 

We'll see you here Friday for a preview of Tormenta's game against Richmond.

I thought about going with a Michelle Branch photo here to really drive home the title, but maybe it's just me that has that song stuck in my head today. So this is when I would usually run my monthly Power Rankings, but the USL had their midseason media availability with the presidents of USL League One and USL Championship and it would be a disservice to you, my readers, if I didn't bring you the key discussion points from that press conference.  (Wait, you'd rather have power rankings? Minotaurs, ships, and the transient nature of sports

It's a soccer post, I promise.  The dude killed a minotaur. We should talk about that and nothing else. He straight up killed a minotaur and yet, somehow, that's not the thing we talk about when we talk about him.  And guess what? That's not the part that I'm going to talk about either. But I wanted to state, up front, before we go any further, that the dude slayed a minotaur and that fact should not go unremarked upon. It has now been remarked upon, so we can continue. But seriously. Do you know what it takes to kill a minotaur? Add in the fact the minotaur was kept in a labyrinth prison so that even if you do kill it, you may not be able to get back out without dying yourself. Some say he used a sword to defeat the minotaur. Others say he used brute force after he lost his sword in battle and defeated it with his bare hands. Either way, he did it.
