The world's second largest outdoor cocktail party?

I dabble in astrophotography. Not as often as I'd like, but since this is a vacation photo, I talked myself into posting it here. |
But, as promised, we have a guest post from Ian of the Forza Naples podcast. A huge thanks to him for this.
Take it away Ian:
It’s finally time for the Florida Georgia Line Derby! Too much? Trying to think of something to celebrate the closest geographic team to FC Naples in the league currently.
After a huge start from Naples, going 9 games unbeaten across all competitions and only allowing 3 goals, Naples has been dealt a bit of a reality check recently, not winning since beating Omaha 3-1 back on May 25. We’ve also struggled on the road, missing out on all three points against Chattanooga, Maine, and Miami FC in the cup, while only picking up one point at Greenville. However, I’m hopeful that a long week off has helped us get back to 100%, and we’re ready to get back to winning ways Wednesday night.
As far as players to watch, your readers should be familiar with two of our main contributors at the back, Chris Hackenberg and Jake Dengler. Look for Dengler, along with former NoCo player Brecc Evans, to win headers and challenges in the middle and hit our wingers on the counterattack. Andres Ferrin has been a player I’ve been excited about since day one; he brings a new dimension of pace down the wings. He, along with the club’s first signing Jayden Onen, has run wild down the wings, playing balls into golden boot contender Karsen Henderlong. We’ve also seen the introduction of a new strike partner to Henderlong, fellow Hoosier Justin Weiss. Weiss scored a brace last time out against Chattanooga and scored against Benfica in a closed-door friendly last Tuesday.
We’ve seen a couple of formation changes recently, with the biggest one being a 3-1-4-2 against Red Wolves. Our manager, Matt Poland, has shown he’s more than willing to tweak things this season. For this match, I’m expecting us to go back to a 4-1-4-1 to better utilize Onen and Ferrin on the wings for counterattacks. I think the four at the back gives us more structure to defend against a possession-heavy side like Tormenta. We seem to play our best when we’re allowed to counter, especially when we can dispossess teams in the middle third. I like the way Naples stacks up against Tormenta, but will we get caught California Dreamin’ with a match Saturday night at AV Alta? Very much looking forward to this one.
Thank you Ian. Be sure to check out the Forza Naples podcast as we wish Naples well in all but their games against Tormenta.
